This Italian wine can be described as an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, presenting itself as exceptionally fragrant. The grapes for this white wine from Italy are harvested exclusively by hand once optimum ripeness has been ensured. After manual harvesting, the grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Perlaia Vermentino Toscana is matured in oak barriques for a further 6 months.
