The basis for the balanced Petit Som De Galmes I Ribot from the Balearic Islands are grapes from the Callet and Merlot grape varieties. The grapes for this red wine from Spain are harvested exclusively by hand once optimum ripeness has been ensured. After harvesting, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large oak barrels at controlled temperatures. At the end of this process, the elegant Petit Som De Galmes I Ribot is aged for several months in French oak barrels.
