Vinification of Gerald Besse Petite Arvine
The basis for the powerful Petite Arvine from Switzerland are grapes from the Arvine variety. In Valais, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and sand. After the grape harvest, the grapes are taken to the press house by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After its end, the Petite Arvine can harmonize further for several months on the fine lees.
