Picpoul de Pinet ist eine autochtohne Rebsorte die sich im Languedoc de Roussillon sehr großer Beliebtheit erfreut. Das helle Gelb des Blue Mare Picpoul de Pinet von Les Vignobles Montagnac schimmert im Glas mit grünen Reflexen. Zartfruchtige Aromen von Zitrusfrüchten, Pampelmuse und Sommeräpfeln harmonieren in der Nase mit einem blumigen Duft nach Blüten.
Der frische, rassige und quicklebendige Weißwein entfaltet im Gaumen eine ausgewogene Säure, gepaart mit einer ausgeprägten Mineralität die an eine Meeresbrise bei Sète erinnert.
