In the glass, this red wine from Weingut Zehnthof offers aromas of blueberries, plums, black cherries, morello cherries and plums, complemented by other fruity nuances. This dry red wine from Weingut Zehnthof is something for wine lovers who like it absolutely dry. The Pinot Cuvée already comes very close to this, as it was pressed with just 0.8 grams of residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this balanced red wine is wonderfully velvety. Due to its vital fruit acidity, the Pinot Cuvée presents itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Franconia finally convinces with a beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the limestone-dominated soils.
Vinification of the Weingut Zehnthof Pinot Cuvée
The basis for Weingut Zehnthof's first-class and wonderfully balanced Pinot Cuvée are Pinot noir precoce and Pinot Noir grapes. In Franconia, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone. After the hand harvest, the grapes quickly reach the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in large wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for 18 months in French barrels.

This German red wine is best enjoyed tempered at 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to osso buco, braised chicken in red wine or stuffed peppers.
