In the glass, the organically produced Pinot Grigio of Baldessari Michela shows a bright golden yellow color. This varietal Italian wine shows in the glass wonderfully expressive notes of ripe apple, pears and apricots. In addition, hints of other fruits.
This wine tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine, this Italian naturally enraptures with the finest balance despite all dryness. Aroma does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly silky and melting texture. The final of this white wine from the wine-growing region of Trentino-Alto Adige, more precisely from Trentino DOC, finally thrills with beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the limestone-dominated soils.
Vinification of Baldessari Michela Pinot Grigio
This balanced white wine from Italy is produced organically from the Pinot Grigio grape variety. In Trentino-Alto Adige, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone. After harvesting, the grapes reach the press house in the fastest possible way. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.
