Vinification of the Pinot Grigio Castel Ringberg Alto Adige by Elena Walch

This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Pinot Grigio. Only the best grapes were harvested for this wonderfully powerful single-varietal wine from Elena Walch. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on clay and limestone soils in Trentino-Alto Adige. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by maturation for several months in French oak barriques.
