The Pravis Pinot Grigio presents itself to the wine connoisseur wonderfully dry. This white wine never appears coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine. The finish of this white wine from the wine-growing region of Trentino-Alto Adige, more precisely from Trentino DOC, finally impresses with a beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by limestone and clay.

Vinification of Pravis Pinot Grigio

This balanced white wine from Italy is vinified from the Pinot Grigio grape variety. In Trentino-Alto Adige, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and limestone. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the Pinot Grigio can harmonize further for several months on the fine lees.

Serving Suggestions for Pravis Pinot Grigio

This Italian white wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to vegetable stew with pesto, leek tortilla or omelet with salmon and fennel.
