In the glass, the Pinot Grigio from the house Simoncelli presents a bright golden yellow color. In the glass, this white wine from Simoncelli reveals aromas of acacia, peaches and ripe apple, complemented by other fruity nuances. This Italian wine tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Italian naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily need residual sugar. On the tongue, this well-balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly melting and silky texture. On the finish, this wine from the wine-growing region of Trentino-Alto Adige finally delights with beautiful length. Once again, hints of acacia and peach appear. In the finish, mineral notes of the sand-dominated soils join in.
Vinification of Simoncelli Pinot Grigio
The balanced Pinot Grigio from Italy is a single-varietal wine, made from the Pinot Grigio grape variety. In Trentino-Alto Adige, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sand. After the manual harvest, the grapes arrive quickly at the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the Pinot Grigio can harmonize further for 6 months on the fine lees.
