The Pinot Nero from Fontana Graziano of Trentino-Alto Adige shows a bright, light red color in the wine glass. The nose of this red wine from Trentino-Alto Adige convinces with aromas of sour cherry and raspberry. If we trace the aroma further, black cherry are added.
The Fontana Graziano Pinot Nero presents itself to the wine lover wonderfully dry. This red wine never shows itself coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine. On the palate, the texture of this balanced red wine is wonderfully silky and fleshy. The finish of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Trentino-Alto Adige, more precisely from Trentino DOC, finally captivates with beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by limestone and clay.
Vinification of Pinot Nero from Fontana Graziano
This balanced red wine from Italy is made from the Pinot Noir grape variety. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Trentino-Alto Adige. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay and limestone. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the elegant Pinot Nero is aged for another 12 months in oak barriques.
