More information
With the Sergio Mottura Pinot Nero Magone comes a first-class organic red wine in the wine glass. It offers a wonderfully bright, light red color. Poured into a red wine glass, this red wine from the Old World shows wonderfully complex aromas of raspberry, rounded off by other fruity nuances that the barrel contributes.
The Sergio Mottura Pinot Nero Magone presents itself to the connoisseur wonderfully dry. This red wine never shows itself coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine. On the tongue, this balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly silky and fleshy texture. Finally, the finish of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Lazio captivates with beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the volcanic rock dominated soils.
Vinification of Sergio Mottura Pinot Nero Magone
The basis for the balanced Pinot Nero Magone from Lazio are grapes from the Pinot Noir variety. In Lazio, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of volcanic rock. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately sent to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for 12 months in oak barriques.
