Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Pinotage Shiraz flatters with a velvety mouthfeel, without lacking juicy liveliness at the same time. The final of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of the Western Cape finally convinces with considerable reverberation.

Vinification of the Pinotage Shiraz from Leopard's Leap

The basis for the balanced Pinotage Shiraz from the Western Cape are grapes from the Pinotage and Shiraz varieties. After harvesting, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in large wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the elegant Pinotage Shiraz is aged for several months in French oak barrels.
