Vinification of the Vigneti del Vulture Pipoli Greco Fiano
Fiano and Greco Bianco grapes form the basis for the first-class and wonderfully elegant Pipoli Greco Fiano cuvée from Vigneti del Vulture. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on limestone soils in Basilicata. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
