Vinification of the Casa Ferreirinha Planalto Reserva Douro
This elegant white wine from Portugal is made from the grape varieties Arinto, Codega do Larinho, Gouveio, Malvasia Fina, Muscat, Rabigato and Viosinho. After the grape harvest, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. At the end of this process, the Planalto Reserva Douro is aged in oak barrels for another 3 months.
