The light-bodied Peter Mertes Maybach Portugieser Rosé sweet shows us an incredibly fruity taste on the tongue, which is not least due to its residual sweet profile. On the tongue, this light-footed rosé wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. Due to its balanced fruit acidity, the Maybach Portugieser Rosé sweet flatters the palate with a velvety feel, without lacking freshness at the same time. In the finish, this wine from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen finally inspires with beautiful length. Again, hints of mango and papaya show up. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully ground. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn into bottles. After the wine is finished, the Maybach Portugieser Rosé sweet is carefully harmonized.
