The Pouilly-Fuissé Les Crays of Domaine Paquet Camille from Burgundy shows a bright golden yellow color in the swirled glass. To the nose, this Domaine Paquet Camille white wine presents all sorts of acacia. As if that were not already impressive, further aromas such as minerals and butter are added by the expansion in stainless steel.
The Domaine Paquet Camille Pouilly-Fuissé Les Crays presents itself to the connoisseur wonderfully dry. This white wine never shows itself coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly creamy and silky texture. The finale of this white wine from the wine-growing region of Burgundy, more precisely from Chablis & Grand Auxerrois, finally thrills with beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the limestone-dominated soils.
Vinification of the Pouilly-Fuissé Les Crays from Domaine Paquet Camille
The basis for the balanced Pouilly-Fuissé Les Crays from France are grapes from the Chardonnay variety. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Burgundy. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of limestone. After the grapes are harvested, they are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn into bottles.
