With its lively fruit acidity, Rosé d'Anjou Les Terriades presents itself wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this youthful rosé wine from the wine-growing region of the Val de Loire, more precisely from Anjou, finally thrills with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by marl and clay.
Vinification of the Les Caves de la Loire Rosé d'Anjou Les Terriades
The elegant Rosé d'Anjou Les Terriades from France is a cuvée made from the Gamay and Groslot grape varieties. In the Val de Loire, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone, clay, gravel and marl. At the time of optimal ripeness, the grapes for Rosé d'Anjou Les Terriades are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective grape harvesters. After the hand harvest, the grapes are immediately transferred to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Rosé d'Anjou Les Terriades is allowed to further harmonize on its fine lees for a few months.
