The Cellier des Dauphins Prestige Rosé Mediterranée presents itself to the wine drinker wonderfully dry. This rosé wine never appears coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the tongue, this light-footed rosé wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp texture. In the finish, this rosé wine from the wine-growing region of the Rhône Valley finally inspires with considerable length. Again, hints of lime and physalis appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by clay and limestone are added.
Vinification of the Prestige Rosé Mediterranée from Cellier des Dauphins
This elegant rosé wine from France is made from Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah grape varieties. In the Rhône Valley, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and limestone. After the hand harvest, the grapes immediately enter the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
