In the glass, the Proyecto Cu4tro Tinto from Clos Montblanc shows a dense purple color. With a little time in the glass, this red wine from the Old World shows wonderfully expressive aromas of mulberry, blackberry, plum and black currant, rounded off by other fruity nuances contributed by the barrel aging.
This Spanish wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine in the upper price range, this Spanish wine enchants with its fine balance despite its dryness. Taste does not necessarily require residual sugar. In the finish, this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Catalonia finally inspires with beautiful length. There are again hints of mulberry and plum.
Vinification of the Proyecto Cu4tro Tinto from Clos Montblanc
This powerful red wine from Spain is vinified from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cariñena, Garnacha and Merlot. After the hand harvest, the grapes immediately reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months in oak barrels.
