More information
The Punktlandung Weisser Burgunder from the Nahe wine-growing region presents a brilliant shimmering light yellow color in the glass. This single-varietal German wine presents wonderfully expressive notes of physalis, mangoes, star fruit and Gallia melon in the glass. This is joined by hints of forest floor, green bell pepper and garrigue.
On the palate, the Punktlandung Weisser Burgunder from Lorenz & Söhne starts wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic. Despite its dry appearance on the palate, this white wine convinces with juicy melting and finely woven residual sweetness. Due to its vital fruit acidity, the Punktlandung Weisser Burgunder presents itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region Nahe finally inspires with considerable length. There are again hints of apricot and mango.
Vinification of the Punktlandung Weisser Burgunder from Lorenz & Söhne
The elegant Punktlandung Weisser Burgunder from Germany is a single-varietal wine, pressed from the Weissburgunder grape variety. When perfectly ripe, the grapes for the Punktlandung Weisser Burgunder are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective grape harvesters. After the hand harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After its end, the Punktlandung Weisser Burgunder can further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
