Poured into a red wine glass, this red wine from the Old World reveals wonderfully expressive aromas of quince, blackberry, pear and black currant, rounded off by other fruity nuances.
On the palate, M. Chapoutier's Rasteau starts pleasantly dry, grippy and aromatic. There are dry and really dry. In the finish, this youthful from the wine-growing region of the Rhône Valley finally thrilled with considerable length. There are again hints of quince and black currant. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by clay and limestone are added.

In the Rhône Valley, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay, limestone, sandstone, clay and marl. The grapes for this red wine from France, after ensuring optimal ripeness, are harvested exclusively by hand . After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are selected and gently broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures.
