In the glass, the Rebo Rigotti from Pravis shows a bright ruby color. To the nose, this Pravis red wine presents all sorts of sour cherry, blueberry, blackberry and plum. As if that were not already impressive, further aromas such as minerals are added by the aging in small wooden barrels.
On the palate, the Rebo Rigotti of Pravis starts wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic. On the tongue, this balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly fleshy, dense and velvety texture. Finally, the finish of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Trentino-Alto Adige, more precisely from Trentino DOC, delights with a beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the limestone-dominated soils.
Vinification of the Rebo Rigotti from Pravis
The balanced Rebo Rigotti from Italy is a single-varietal wine, vinified from the Rebo grape variety. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Trentino-Alto Adige. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of limestone. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the elegant Rebo Rigotti is aged for another 12 months in oak barriques.
Serving Suggestions for Pravis Rebo Rigotti
This red wine from Italy is best enjoyed at a temperate 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to braised chicken in red wine, roasted calf's liver with apples, onions and balsamic vinegar sauce or duck breast with sugar snap peas.
