More information about Red Roots - Weingut Markowitsch

In the glass, the Red Roots from Weingut Markowitsch reveals a bright ruby red color. In the glass, this red wine from Weingut Markowitsch reveals aromas of sour cherries and blackberries, complemented by chocolate. This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was brought to the bottle with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Austrian enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Aroma does not necessarily require residual sugar. Balanced and complex, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. The final of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Burgenland finally impresses with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by clay and limestone. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Burgenland. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay and limestone. After the grape harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the elegant Red Roots is aged for several months in oak barriques.
