Here it is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Italian enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Excellent taste does not necessarily need residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully light, crisp and silky. On the finish, this wine from the wine-growing region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia finally delights with beautiful length. Once again, hints of blackberry appear.
Vinification of Refosco Dal Peduncolo Rosso Colli Orientali by Grillo Iole
This red wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, Refosco. For this wonderfully powerful single-varietal wine from Grillo Iole, only first-class grape material was brought in. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks and large wood at controlled temperatures. After its end, the powerful Refosco Dal Peduncolo Rosso Colli Orientali is aged for another 12 months in oak barrels.

This Italian red wine is best enjoyed tempered at 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to roasted calf's liver with apples, onions and balsamic vinegar sauce, veal boiled fillet with beans and tomatoes or duck breast with sugar snap peas.
