Vinification of Tenuta Pinni Refosco Dal Peduncolo Rosso
The basis for the balanced Refosco Dal Peduncolo Rosso from Friuli-Venezia Giulia are grapes from the grape variety Refosco. In Friuli Venezia Giulia, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and gravel. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and large wood at controlled temperatures. At its end, the Refosco Dal Peduncolo Rosso can continue to harmonize for a few months on the fine lees.
