More information
Vivanco's Reserva is an excellent, Spanish red wine cuvée made from the Tempranillo (90%) and Graciano (10%) grape varieties.
A clear and deep cherry red gleams in the glass of this wine. The complex bouquet of Vivanco Reserva Tinto blends scents of preserved fruits, mineral notes, vanilla from new oak and subtle spicy nuances. The elegant tannins are perfectly integrated. Overall, this full-bodied red wine presents a good acid structure and balsamic notes. The finish delights with a wonderful complexity and elegance.
The bottle was modeled on an original 18th century wine bottle on display at the Vivanco Museum of Wine Culture.
Vinification of Vivanco Reserva
The grapes for this red wine are carefully harvested by hand and carefully selected and pressed in the winery. The must is then fermented in stainless steel tanks under temperature control. After the fermentation process, this wine is aged for a total of 24 months in oak barrels - first for 12 months in American oak and then for 12 months in French oak.
Food recommendation for the Reserva from Vivanco
This dry red wine from Spain should be decanted in time, at least an hour before serving, and is then a perfect soloist.
