In the glass, the Riesling penned by Blanck Paul shows a bright pale yellow color. This varietal French wine flatters in the glass wonderfully distinguished and complex notes of orange, grapefruit, acacia and lemon. In addition, hints of other fruits.
The Blanck Paul Riesling presents itself to the wine drinker pleasantly dry. This white wine never shows itself coarse or meager, but round and smooth. Balanced and complex, this light and crisp white wine presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this wine from the wine-growing region of Alsace finally inspires with beautiful length. Again, hints of orange and acacia appear. In the finish, mineral notes of the soils dominated by sand and gravel join in.
Vinification of Riesling from Blanck Paul
This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Riesling. Only the best grape material was used for this exceptionally balanced varietal wine from Blanck Paul. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Alsace. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of sand and gravel. After the grapes are harvested, they are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn into bottles.
