Vinification of Weingut Hammel Riesling Brut
The balanced Riesling Brut from Germany is a single-varietal wine made from the Riesling grape variety. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on loam and loess soils in the Palatinate. Following the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. The base wines are then fermented. After the composition of the final sparkling wine, further ageing takes place using the classic bottle fermentation method. The Weingut Hammel Riesling Brut then matures for several months in the bottle and is finally disgorged.
