The light-footed Riesling from Lorenz & Söhne shines with brilliant light yellow in the glass. The nose of this Lorenz & Sons white wine shows all sorts of pineapple, apricots, nectarines, Gallia melon and apples. As if that wasn't impressive enough, the stainless steel aging adds more aromas like forest floor and sun-warmed rock.
The Lorenz & Söhne Riesling shows us an incredibly fruity taste on the tongue, which is not without reason due to its residual sweetness flavor profile. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the Riesling is fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. The finale of this white wine from the wine-growing region of Nahe, more precisely from Bad Kreuznach, finally thrills with considerable reverberation.
Vinification of the Lorenz & Söhne Riesling
The basis for the elegant Riesling from the Nahe are grapes from the Riesling grape variety. When the perfect physiological ripeness is ensured, the grapes for the Riesling are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective full harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
