More information about Riesling feinherb - Kloster Eberbach

This Riesling from Kloster Eberbach in the Rheingau region offers a brilliant, light yellow color in the wine glass. Poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from the Old World shows wonderfully expressive aromas of apricot, lemon, pink grapefruit and grapefruit, rounded off by juniper, garrigue and Mediterranean herbs.

The Kein Riesling can rightly be described as exceptionally fruit-forward and velvety, having been vinified with a pleasantly mellow flavor profile. On the palate, the texture of this light-bodied white wine presents itself wonderfully crisp. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Riesling shows impressively fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this white wine from the wine-growing region of the Rheingau finally thrilled with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by silicate rock and loess soil.

Vinification of the Riesling from Kloster Eberbach

This elegant Riesling from Germany is a single-varietal wine, made from the Riesling grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Rheingau. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of slate, silicate rock and loess soil. After manual harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.

Food recommendation for the Riesling from Kloster Eberbach

This German white wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to vegetable stew with pesto, spring rolls with minced meat filling or pasta with sausage dumplings.
