In the glass, the Riesling from the pen of Kloster Eberbach presents a brilliant shimmering light yellow color. To the nose, this Kloster Eberbach white wine reveals all sorts of apricots, nashi pear, quince, peaches and apples. As if that weren't already impressive, the stainless steel aging adds green peppers, lovage and juniper.
The Kloster Eberbach Riesling presents itself wonderfully dry to the wine lover. This white wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the palate, the texture of this light-footed white wine is wonderfully crisp. In the finish, this wine from the wine-growing region Hessische Bergstrasse finally inspires with good length. Again, hints of vineyard peach and nectarine show.
Vinification of the Riesling from Kloster Eberbach
The elegant Riesling from Germany is a single-varietal wine, made from the Riesling grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.
