The Riesling from Dreissigacker from Rheinhessen shows a brilliant, light yellow color in the glass. The nose of this white wine from Rheinhessen delights with hints of apple, quince, lime and kumquat. If we trace the aromatics further, vanilla, black tea and lovage are added.

This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with only 1.1 grams of residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine in the high quality wine range, this German wine naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Taste does not necessarily require residual sugar. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly dense and crisp texture. Through its concise fruit acidity, the Riesling reveals itself on the palate exceptionally fresh and lively. The final of this white wine from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen finally thrills with considerable reverberation.

Vinification of the Dreissigacker Riesling

The basis for the elegant Riesling from Rheinhessen are grapes from the Riesling grape variety. The berries for this white wine from Germany, after ensuring optimal ripeness, are harvested exclusively by hand . After the hand harvest, the grapes quickly reach the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks and large wood at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Riesling is aged for several months in oak barrels.
