The Riesling from Weingut Hexamer from the Nahe reveals a brilliant, light yellow color in the glass. The nose of this white wine from the Nahe region enchants with nuances of guava, pear, papaya and quince. It is its fruity nature that makes this wine so special.
This wine delights with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would naturally expect from a wine in the upper price range, this German wine naturally enraptures with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Taste does not necessarily need sugar. The finish of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region the Nahe, more precisely from Meddersheim, finally thrills with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the soils dominated by slate and silicate rock.
Vinification of the Riesling from Weingut Hexamer
The basis for the elegant Riesling from the Nahe are grapes from the Riesling grape variety. In the Nahe, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of slate and silicate rock. The berries for this white wine from Germany, when perfectly ripe, are harvested exclusively by hand . After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly transferred to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully ground. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Riesling can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months....
