The Riesling from the wine-growing region of Franconia presents itself in the glass in bright light yellow. The nose of this white wine from Franconia seduces with hints of morello cherry, nectarine, plum and peach. If we trace the aromatics further, sun-warmed rocks and forest floor come into play.
The Riesling from Winzerhof Stahl is ideal for all connoisseurs who like as little residual sweetness in the wine as possible. However, it never appears sparse or brittle, as one would naturally expect from a wine in the high quality wine range. On the palate, the texture of this balanced white wine is wonderfully light. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Riesling presents itself on the palate fantastically fresh and lively. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region of Franconia finally inspires with considerable length. There are again hints of vineyard peach and plum.
Vinification of the Riesling from Winzerhof Stahl
The balanced Riesling from Germany is a single-varietal wine, made from the Riesling grape variety. The grapes for this white wine from Germany, when perfectly ripe, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly transferred to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully milled. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.
