As if that were not already impressive, further aromas such as tobacco and licorice are added by the expansion in small wooden barrels.
On the palate, the Riserva Montefalco Rosso from Adanti opens wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. Light-footed and multifaceted, this velvety red wine presents itself on the palate. The final of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Veneto finally thrills with extraordinary reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the clay-dominated soils.
Vinification of Riserva Montefalco Rosso by Adanti
The basis for the first-class and wonderfully elegant cuvée Riserva Montefalco Rosso by Adanti are Sangiovese, Merlot and Sagrantino grapes. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Veneto. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay. The grapes for this red wine from Italy, when perfectly ripe, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the harvest, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. After its end, the light-footed Riserva Montefalco Rosso is aged for another 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels.
