More information
The Rivaner from Weingut Kiefer from Baden shows a brilliant, light yellow color in the wine glass. The first nose of Rivaner reveals notes of lime, lemongrass and apples. The fruity parts of the bouquet are joined by more fruity-balsamic nuances.
Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Rivaner flatters with a soft mouthfeel, without lacking freshness at the same time.
Vinification of the Weingut Kiefer Rivaner
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Müller-Thurgau. Only impeccable grape material was used for this exceptionally elegant single-varietal wine from Weingut Kiefer. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Baden. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of loam and loess. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Rivaner can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
