The elegant Roero Arneis Progetto Hope from the pen of Fabrizio Pinsoglio glides into the glass with bright platinum yellow. Poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from the Old World shows wonderfully expressive aromas of acacia, rounded off by minerals contributed by barrel aging.
This Italian wine convinces with its straightforward dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. Here it is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Italian naturally enchants with all dryness with the finest balance. Aroma does not necessarily need sugar. On the palate, the texture of this balanced white wine is wonderfully crisp and fleshy. In the finish, this wine from the wine-growing region of Piedmont finally thrills with beautiful length. Once again, hints of acacia appear. In the finish, mineral notes of the sand-dominated soils are added.
Vinification of Roero Arneis Progetto Hope by Fabrizio Pinsoglio
This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, Arneis. For this exceptionally balanced single-varietal wine from Fabrizio Pinsoglio, only the best grapes were brought in. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Piedmont. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of sand. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks and large wood at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by aging for 6 months in 900 l tonneau of oak.
