The elegant Rosado from the pen of Viñas del Vero shimmers with bright raspberry pink in the glass. The Viñas del Vero Rosado presents itself to the connoisseur wonderfully dry. This rosé wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the tongue, this balanced rosé wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp texture. The final of this youthful rosé wine from the wine-growing region of Aragon, more precisely from Somontano DO, finally impresses with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the soils dominated by limestone and sand.
Vinification of the Viñas del Vero Rosado
The basis for the balanced Rosado from Aragon are grapes from the grape varieties Merlot and Tempranillo. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Aragon. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of sand and limestone. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn into bottles.
