More information
The Rosé Brut Grand Cru from the pen of Vesselle Georges from Champagne offers a bright, light red color in the swirled glass. The play of pearls of this sparkling wine shimmers in the glass immensely fine, elegant and long-lasting. After the first swirl, one can perceive an exceptional balance in this sparkling wine, as it does not stand out on the walls of the glass, neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like. To the nose, this Vesselle Georges sparkling wine presents all sorts of pomegranates and raspberries. As if that were not already impressive, further aromas such as red currant and hibiscus blossom are added by the expansion in stainless steel.
On the palate, the texture of this balanced sparkling wine is wonderfully light, crisp and creamy. In the finish, this sparkling wine from the Champagne wine-growing region finally thrills with beautiful length. There are again hints of pomegranate and raspberry. In the reverberation, mineral notes of the limestone and clay dominated soils join.
Vinification of Vesselle Georges Rosé Brut Grand Cru
The basis for the balanced Rosé Brut Grand Cru from Champagne are grapes from the grape varieties Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Champagne. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay and limestone. Obviously, the Rosé Brut Grand Cru is also determined by climatic and stylistic factors of Champagne. This Frenchman can literally be described as an Old World wine that is exceptionally distinguished and complex. The maturation of the grapes for this wine of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir is influenced to a very high degree by the climate of the growing region. In Champagne, the grapes thrive in a rather cool climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and uniform grapes and a rather moderate must weight. Following the harvest, the grapes are taken to the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and gently pressed. Now follows the fermentation of the base wines.
Supper recommendation for Vesselle Georges Rosé Brut Grand Cru
This French sparkling wine is best enjoyed very well chilled at 5 - 7°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to vegetable salad with beetroot, coconut-lime fish curry or spaghetti with yogurt-mint pesto.
