More information
The light-footed rosé Domaine Laffitte flows into the glass with brilliant strawberry pink. The Domaine Laffitte Rosé presents itself to the wine lover wonderfully dry. This rosé wine never appears coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine beyond the 4-euro mark. Light-footed and multi-layered, this light rosé wine presents itself on the palate. The finale of this youthful rosé wine from the wine-growing region of Gascony, more precisely from Côtes de Gascogne, finally impresses with good reverberation.
Vinification of the rosé from Domaine Laffitte
The elegant rosé from France is a cuvée, pressed from the grape varieties Malbec and Merlot. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of the fermentation, the rosé is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
Food recommendation for the rosé from Domaine Laffitte
This rosé wine from France is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to fruity endive salad, spaghetti with yogurt-mint pesto or stir-fried vegetables with fish.
