In the glass, this red wine from Zeni offers aromas of green apple and ripe apple, complemented by red currant. This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It has been bottled with exceptionally low residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Italian naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all dryness. Taste does not necessarily require much residual sugar. Balanced and multifaceted, this light, silky and crisp red wine presents itself on the palate. The final of this red wine from the wine-growing region Trentino-Alto Adige, more precisely from Trentino DOC, finally captivates with beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the gravel-dominated soils.
Vinification of Rossara Legiare by Zeni
The balanced Rossara Legiare from Italy is a single-varietal wine, organically pressed from the Rossara grape variety. In Trentino-Alto Adige, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of gravel. After the grape harvest, the grapes reach the winery in the fastest possible way. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.
Serving Suggestions for Zeni Rossara Legiare
This Italian red wine is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to lamb stew with chickpeas and dried figs, duck breast with sugar snap peas or boeuf bourguignon.
