More information
The organically produced Rosso Di Montalcino Doc from Loacker glides into the glass with a bright ruby red color. After the first swirl, you can perceive a perfect balance in this red wine, as it is neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the glass walls. The nose of this Loacker red wine reveals all kinds of blackberries, mulberries, blackcurrants and blueberries.
This red from Loacker is just right for all wine connoisseurs who like as little residual sweetness in their wine as possible. However, it is never sparse or brittle, as you would expect from a wine in this price range. On the palate, this balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly velvety texture. With its vital fruit acidity, the Rosso Di Montalcino Doc is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. On the finish, this young wine from the Tuscan wine-growing region finally delights with its beautiful length. There are again hints of blackberry and blueberry.
Vinification of the Rosso Di Montalcino Doc from Loacker
The balanced Rosso Di Montalcino Doc from Italy is a single-varietal wine, organically vinified from the Sangiovese grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large oak barrels at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the elegant Rosso Di Montalcino Doc is aged for several months in oak barrels. Once the wine is finished, the Rosso Di Montalcino Doc is carefully harmonized.
