This dessert wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Nero d'Avola. For this wonderfully powerful single-varietal wine from Cantina Marilina, only immaculate grapes were brought in. In Sicily, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone. After the grape harvest, the grapes arrive at the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in small wood and large wood at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by aging for several months in oak barriques.
