Vinification of Cantina Marilina Rosso Federica Riserva

The powerful Rosso Federica Riserva from Italy is a single-varietal wine, organically pressed from the Nero d'Avola grape variety. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Sicily. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of limestone. After manual harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and concrete at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Rosso Federica Riserva can harmonize further for 42 months on the fine lees.

This Italian red wine is best enjoyed tempered at 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to veal escalope with beans and tomatoes, boeuf bourguignon or braised chicken in red wine.
