More information
The Rosso Langhe from the Piedmont wine-growing region has a bright ruby red color in the glass. The first nose of the Rosso Langhe reveals notes of plums, mulberries and blackberries. The fruity components of the bouquet are joined by forest floor and sun-warmed rocks.
This dry red wine from G.D. Vajra is something for wine lovers who would prefer 0.0 grams of sugar in their wine. This silky red wine is balanced and multi-layered on the palate. The finish of this age-worthy red wine from the Piedmont wine-growing region, more precisely from the Langhe DOC region, is ultimately delightful with a good finish.
Vinification of the Rosso Langhe from G.D. Vajra
The basis for the balanced Rosso Langhe from Piedmont are grapes from the Barbera, Dolcetto and Nebbiolo grape varieties. The grapes for this red wine from Italy are harvested exclusively by hand once optimum ripeness has been ensured. After the grape harvest, the grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
Recommendation for Rosso Langhe by G.D. Vajra
This red wine from Italy is best enjoyed at 15 - 18°C to accompany cabbage roulades, leek tortillas or spicy curries with lamb.
