The first nose of the Roycello Fiano Salento reveals lime, lime and pomelo. The fruity notes of the bouquet are joined by even more fruity-balsamic nuances.
The Tormaresca Roycello Fiano Salento is pleasantly dry for wine enthusiasts. This white wine is never coarse or austere, but round and smooth. This melting and crisp white wine is balanced and multi-faceted on the palate. The finish of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Apulia, more precisely from Salento IGT, ultimately delights with good persistence. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets from the limestone and marl-dominated soils.
Vinification of the Tormaresca Roycello Fiano Salento
This balanced white wine from Italy is made from the Fiano grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Apulia. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into limestone and marl soils. After the grape harvest, the grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
