More information
With the Erwin Sabathi Sabathini Südsteiermark DAC comes a first-class organic white wine in the wine glass. In this it presents a wonderfully brilliant, light yellow color. Poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from the Old World presents wonderfully expressive aromas of nectarine, vineyard peach, peach and mirabelle plum, rounded off by sun-warmed rock and forest floor.
The Erwin Sabathi Sabathini Südsteiermark DAC delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with only 1.1 grams of residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Austrian naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all dryness. Taste does not necessarily require a lot of sugar. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. With its vital fruit acidity, the Sabathini Südsteiermark DAC reveals itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful from the wine-growing region of Styria finally inspires with good length. Again, hints of nectarine and vineyard peach show. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by sand and marl join in.
Vinification of the Sabathini Südsteiermark DAC by Erwin Sabathi
This elegant white wine from Austria is organically cuvée from Welschriesling (Riesling Italico, Olaszrizling) and Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Styria. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of sand and marl. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn into bottles.
Food recommendation for the Sabathini Südsteiermark DAC by Erwin Sabathi
Drink this organic white wine from Austria ideally well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompanying wine to chickpea curry, leek tortilla or asparagus salad with quinoa.
