More information

With the Château Beau-Site Saint-Éstephe Cru Bourgeois 1.5l Magnum comes a first-class red wine in the wine glass. In this it reveals a wonderfully bright ruby color. At the edges, there is also a color transition into garnet red. When swirling the wine glass, one can perceive a perfect balance in this red wine, as it does not stand out on the glass walls in a watery, syrupy or liqueur-like manner. This French cuvée shows wonderfully expressive notes of raspberries, blackberries and black currants in the glass. These are joined by hints of vanilla.

On the palate, the Saint-Éstephe Cru Bourgeois 1.5l Magnum from Château Beau-Site opens wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. On the tongue, this balanced red wine is characterized by an immensely velvety texture. In the finish, this mature red wine from the wine-growing region of Bordeaux finally inspires with considerable length. There are again hints of raspberry and black currant. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the gravel-dominated soils join in.

Vinification of the Saint-Éstephe Cru Bourgeois 1,5l Magnum from Château Beau-Site

The balanced Saint-Éstephe Cru Bourgeois 1,5l Magnum from France is a cuvée vinified from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Bordeaux. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of gravel. The Saint-Éstephe Cru Bourgeois 1.5l Magnum is an Old World wine through and through, as this Frenchman exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. The grapes for this red wine from France, after ensuring optimal ripeness, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the elegant Saint-Éstephe Cru Bourgeois 1.5l Magnum is aged for another 12 months in French oak barriques.

Food recommendation for the Saint-Éstephe Cru Bourgeois 1,5l Magnum from Château Beau-Site

This French wine is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to vegetable couscous with beef meatballs, spinach gratin with almonds or spaghetti with caper and tomato sauce.
