Vinification of the Maybach Sauvignon Blanc by Peter Mertes
The basis for the elegant Maybach Sauvignon Blanc from Germany are grapes from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully milled. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off. After the wine is finished, the Maybach Sauvignon Blanc is carefully harmonized.
