More information about Sauvignon Blanc Nelson - Richmond Plains
The powerful Sauvignon Blanc Nelson from Richmond Plains flows into the glass with a dense light yellow color. Swiveling the glass, this white wine reveals high density and richness, which is evident in church windows at the rim of the glass. To the nose, this Richmond Plains white wine reveals all manner of ripe apple and lemon. As if that wasn't already impressive, the stainless steel aging adds more aromas like mint/melissa and mineral.
The Richmond Plains Sauvignon Blanc Nelson presents itself to the connoisseur wonderfully dry. This white wine never appears coarse or meager, as one might expect from a premium and site wine segment. This silky white wine is full-bodied and complex on the palate. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Sauvignon Blanc Nelson reveals itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. The finale of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of New Zealand South Island, more precisely from Nelson, finally captivates with beautiful reverberation.
Vinification of the Sauvignon Blanc Nelson from Richmond Plains
The powerful Sauvignon Blanc Nelson from New Zealand is a single-varietal wine, organically pressed from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc. After the grape harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of the fermentation, the Sauvignon Blanc Nelson is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
